Product
The Turbotest®Up offers numerous advantages compared to the standard version:
- Extended lifting stroke, enabling easy placement of larger containers
- Dual lift controls: foot switch and touchscreen for improved ergonomics
- Built-in “Programming” mode, storing up to 100 formulations of 20 phases each
- Tool position memory for enhanced precision in repeated operations
- Temperature probe with direct connection to the HMI—probe holder included
- Real-time process monitoring, with live curve display on the screen
- USB data export, allowing for robust traceability and easy test tracking
The Turbotest® is delivered with a shaft and mixing tools. The number and type of tools depend on the package selected:
- Starter Lab Package includes a four-blade axial propeller and a radial-flow deflocculating turbine.
- Master Lab Package adds to the Starter tools a rotor-stator emulsifier and its disassembly tool.
- The Turbotest®Up includes, in addition, a temperature probe that connects directly to the machine, along with a clip-on holder for securing the probe to a beaker.
The Turbotest® and Turbotest® Up mixers offer a wide speed range, reaching up to 4 000 rpm.
They feature customizable acceleration ramps that can be tailored to your product’s viscosity.
For safety reasons, operation always begins at 50 rpm to ensure a controlled and secure start.
The Starter Lab Package includes two tools:
- A four-blade axial flow impeller, ideal for homogenizing and suspending miscible liquids. It promotes product circulation through strong pumping action.
- A radial flow dispersing turbine, designed for dispersion, dissolution, and simple emulsions. It is particularly effective with loaded liquid products and for incorporating gelling or texturizing agents due to its high shear.
The Master Lab Package includes all the tools from the Starter Package, plus a rotor-stator emulsifier. This tool provides very high shear, making it perfect for:
- Creating fine emulsions of powders in a liquid phase
- Homogenizing viscous ingredients
- Processing complex phases (oil and water)
The Starter Lab Package, with its tools, allows you to produce a wide range of products such as serums, perfumes, make-up removers, sun oils, formulation of gels, shampoos, ointments…
The Master Lab Package includes all the applications of the Starter Lab Package but can also make complex products such as toothpaste, cosmetic creams, lipstick, foundation or mascara…
The tools of the Turbotest® are the same as those of the Turbotest®Up.
Yes, absolutely! The tools you used with the Turbotest®Evo are fully compatible with the new generation. You won’t need to replace your accessories when upgrading to the new model.
Please note: The standard 310 mm shaft from the Turbotest® Evo is compatible with the new generation; however, the high-version shaft is not compatible with the new model.
Select a capacity when configuring your package. The Turbotest®, however, can accomodate tools of various sizes.
With the Turbotest®Up you can monitor your test data in real time on the display. It is also equipped with a USB port, allowing you to export all data in CSV format for analysis on a computer.
The Turbotest® mixer has been designed to ensure the reproducibility of your processes, guarantee the consistency of your tests and facilitate the development of your new products. In addition, the design and parameters of the Turbotest® are consistent with the pilot (Trilab pilot homogenizer) and production (Trimix) ranges.
The choice of mixing tool allows a direct calculation of the peripheral speed for industrial scale-up.
The entire range of VMI equipment is designed and assembled in France, on our site in Montaigu-Vendée. We believe in sustainable co-development with our customers, being more competitive together and favouring short circuits.
